Library Closure

Caring for the health and well-being of staff and library patrons is very important to Chinook libraries. Therefore, in order to assist with efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, all branches are currently closed. The Re-open Sask Plan has put public libraries into Phase 4, which currently has no date. We cannot wait to prepare our libraries for your return. In the meantime, please make use of our growing collection of online resources, or call us at (306) 773-3186 or (306) 778-2752 to find out how we can help you further.

On a mean street in a mean, broken city, a young girl tries to snatch an old woman's bag. But the frail old woman, holding on with the strength of heroes, says the thief can't have it without giving something in return: the promise. It is the beginning of a journey that will change the thieving girl's life -- and a chance to change the world, for good.
